Longino identifies and recruits’ artists across the country to lead fun workshops and classes for their local residential communities. As complement to her own practice, Longino is currently in collaboration with Craft Happy, an event company that helps spark connection over art and crafting. After attending residencies in Tennessee and Kefalonia, Greece and completing master classes at the New York Academy of Art in NYC, Longino has resettled herself in her hometown of Atlanta, GA. The goal of these large-scale public works is to infuse community spaces with awe-inspiring colorful joy. Beneath the surface, the work indicates her deep resonance to family and nostalgic concepts of “home.” In addition to being exhibited throughout Atlanta in venues such as ABV Gallery and Downtown Players Club, Longino’s work has been adapted for numerous building facades and interiors of a variety of businesses. She is known for bright, imaginative works that combine funky patterns with realistic portraits. Lacey Longino is a mixed-media painter and muralist who received her BFA from Georgia State University in 2015. Megan currently resides in Atlanta, GA where she is an artist in residence at The Skylark and a Professor at Kennesaw State University. Recent projects include: an installation on the Westside trail of the Atlanta Beltline, “Terminus II”, a permanent, fourstory, exterior installation for The Skylark apartment community, the continuation of a four-story interior installation for Google in Pittsburgh, and an upcoming solo show at Francis Marion University. Her diverse exhibition history includes an installation in Sydney, Australia (2017) - a body of site-specific work that spoke of the lasting impression a fully immersive, multi-sensory artwork can leave on a viewer. She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with an MFA in painting and has received numerous awards from institutions such as the Foundation for Contemporary Arts and the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences. With the creation of three-dimensional drawings often enhanced by light, Megan emphasizes obscured elements within recognizable objects and correlates the symbolic lived experience. Megan Mosholder is an artist who operates in the real-world setting of the social-political landscape through site-responsive, sculptural installations.
